The delegation extended an invitation to Malaysian companies to explore participation in PPP projects in Senegal and Morocco. These countries have plans to expand their port and associated infrastructure facilities as the ports in these countries are very strategically located with big potential to be major transhipment hubs for the greater hinterland and surrounding land locked countries. These resource rich countries also require dedicated terminals, especially for phosphate, chemical, coal, fisheries and even leisure related services (e.g. marinas). Together with these infrastructure facilities, Malaysian companies are also invited to explore the possibilities of industrial park developments to compliment the aforesaid ports development.
